Pas de gps !visite du nord au sud en passant par les villes les plus importantes. Carte précieuse et pratique pas de fausse note. Très bien. Retour peu abîmée prête pour repartir ! !
La carte est bien détaillée mais dommage qu'elle soit coupée en deux (recto verso). Pour le reste nous en sommes satisfaits

The only reason you would buy trail map is for backpacking or hiking options. I was very disappointed with this map. I bought this map for Rae Lakes Loop trail and it simply add no value in my planning. No camp sites or no details on trail. Rae Lakes is a tiny little section of whole map and treated as standard day hikes. I do understand Sierra is big and hard to cover in one map but Ray Lakes Loop is 100% part of Kings Canyon and I was expecting more details on NP trails. They do have good map for JMT and PCT section of these national parks but I rather buy PCT/JMT maps for that.If you are looking for 1 map for both of these NPs for overview, this is for you. If you are looking for backpacking, you may need additional sources. If you are looking for Rae Lakes Loop map, don't buy this. It's waste of money. No camp sites or location details on this map. These are good hiking maps but really, the park provided maps are nearly as good for basic trail info. Where these NG maps excel is in showing topography (contour lines and elevations) and the extra info provided on the back of the map. See pic. On the other hand I would want one of these maps for use in conjunction with a compass or for longer hikes. The compass legend (name?) shows the declination between true north magnetic north, making it easier to navigate, especially if you have a compass that doesn't have an adjustable declination. (see pic) They have waypoint info included as well for GPS usage. (see pic) They are also nice for the car passenger to read (out loud?) while en route to the park. These maps aren't for car navigation to get to the park - you will need a state highway map or your Phone/tablet/GPS device for that.I have several other of these NG maps as well so being a repeat customer is saying something. They claim to be water proof and the paper feels like a thicker page stock out of a magazine. Looking as some other of these maps used on an earlier adventure, they are not showing wear so the material aspect seems to be at least good. Just wish they were a little less $$. I mean $12 to $15 each isn't bad until you start buying a bunch of them...
Awesome. Well detailed and durable. Has some type of heavy plastic finish that accepts stick on flags, markers, and mileage notes to use with tour books.Think back to the days of getting a road map at a gas or welcome center. This is a driving map, termed adventure in the title. I am doing a 10 day self driving road trip, and need a highway map to go with WAZE and TOM TOM’s maps.This will get you to the city you need, show you the route of the Tel Aviv to Jerusalem train, and the geography of the region you are in. You need a tour book and the maps in the tour book. One has a very nice map of Jerusalem in the back. No city blow ups, a road map plain and simple.Well worth the price to understand why it’s a five hour ride across the Gaza Strip to Eilat from Tel Aviv; and book a fifty minute flight there instead. It’s a tool, welcome back to the 70’s.
Nothing wrong with the map as far as quality, but these maps should not be called "Trails illustrated". They do not provide a detailed view of hiking trails and are completely worthless if you are planning on using them to navigate while hiking. If you are planning on getting a map to view hiking trails, do yourself a favor and wait until you get to the park and get one at the welcome center. Those are much more detailed and intended to be used for detailed hiking reference.
I usually buy Tom Harrison maps but decided this out due to the reviews. Great overview of the park and a lot of the popular trails are marked. I've been backpacking in the area, but I'm about to take the wife on a weekend trip to see the Sequoias and wanted a good map to take. This map shows all the popular trail and ranger stations. It even details some of the lodges in the area and ranger stations. If I was going on a serious hike though I'd want a little more detail. I believe there are separate maps for the Mineral King area and Kings Canyon with more detail. I just like maps for a nice overall view and I normally carry a GPS to stay on trail during winter months.
